This refuge, of 600 Ha, is a haven of tropical humid forests, with an exotic, indescribable beauty. The transparency of its river, which over millions of years carved its way through the high hills of limestone to form the most splendid Marble Canyon that exists in Colombia. Cabin Refuge: 2-4pers/room, double and single beds, ensuite bathrooms. Located within the forest, with fabulous panoramic views of the canyon, the forest and the river.
Ecohotel Bluemorpho: shared rooms 4-6pers/r, single beds & private bathroom. Located in the headquarters, with rooms open to the river landscape. Both options have energy & electrical connections.
How to get there:
Road Medellin – Bogota Km150. From Medellin, take the bus from the North Terminal in the direction to Bgta. and tell the bus driver to let you out at Río Claro.
Walk 1 km (10 min.) to the headquarters of the reserve.
