Guainía – Puerto Inírida
Capital of Guainía, Puerto Inirida is a new city founded in 1963 on the border with Venezuela. From here one can visit the Cerros de Mavecure and the Inirida and Guaviare rivers.

Only 50km by boat over the Inirida river from Puerto Inirida, the Cerros de Mavecure are immense boulders measuring up to 250m in height with the three principal sights being Pajarito, Mono y Mavecure in the heart of the Remanso indigenous Reservation.
